We went from no structured culture to hitting a 6.28 score out of 7.0 on our most recent culture survey and being selected #4 in the small business division of “Best Places to Work in Iowa.” That high score is a reflection of motivated, excited employees that drive our strong NIM and ROA. Very methodically, The Emmerich Group put in place processes, procedures, and cultural changes that people understood, appreciated, and were able and willing to stick with. It’s been nine years since Roxanne’s big launch, and instead of it being a distant memory, it’s with us every day.
